  • Dr Gillian Hawkley

    MBChB (Aberdeen) FRNZCGP Dip.Occ.Med (Otago)

    Gillian grew up on the West coast of Scotland and developed a love of the sea at an early age. Graduating from Aberdeen Medical School in 2002, she worked in Glasgow as a junior doctor before moving to New Zealand where she completed her specialist G.P training. She worked extensively in both general practice and urgent care in urban, rural and more remote environments before moving into the field of Occupational Medicine, working at a private clinic while undertaking her 2 year post-graduate diploma in Occupational Medicine, at Otago University. She is an Approved Doctor for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA). Outside of work Gillian enjoys spending time in the outdoors, cycling, and on the water when she can.

  • Iona Mackay R.N

    BA Nursing Studies (Glasgow Caledonian)

    Also from the West Coast, Iona worked in the hospitality industry for several years before changing career to qualify as a registered nurse in 2009. She has over 12 years experience working in both hospital and community settings. She has a calm and friendly manner and will help you feel relaxed at your appointment. In her spare time Iona enjoys running, shopping and walking her springer spaniel Molly.
